AI Engineer (Machine Learning, Python)

Job description

Alpaca Solutions is seeking experienced Senior AI Engineers to lead AI-driven projects in finance, insurance, and commerce. The role requires expertise in developing, deploying, and optimizing AI models to solve real-world challenges such as customer segmentation, cash flow prediction, dynamic pricing optimization, fraud detection, financial process automation, and AI-powered chatbots.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deploy Machine Learning & AI models for real-world applications.
• Design and build end-to-end AI pipelines from data processing to final product.
• Optimize AI models for high accuracy and scalability.
• Apply NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI (GenAI) to various business cases.
• Collaborate with Business, Data Engineers, and Backend teams to integrate AI into enterprise systems.
• Ensure AI system stability, scalability, and compliance with data security regulations.

Research and implement cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Your skills and experience

Mandatory Experience & Skills:

• 2+ years of AI/ML development experience, preferably in finance, insurance, or commerce.
• Proficient in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, OpenCV, and NLP libraries (SpaCy, Transformers).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and production AI deployment.
• Experience in data pipelines, ETL, and Big Data processing using tools like Spark, Hadoop, and Airflow.
• Strong knowledge of modern AI models: LLMs (Large Language Models), Generative AI, Computer Vision
• Proficient in SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch), and AI data storage systems.
• Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Good English reading and comprehension skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI-driven chatbots, fraud detection, dynamic pricing, or customer segmentation.
• Knowledge of AutoML, MLOps, and frameworks like Kubeflow, MLflow, or TFX.
• Background in Finance, Insurance, or E-commerce is a plus.
• Experience with blockchain, AI security, or fintech AI applications is a bonus.
