Job description

We are looking for a skilled and creative Front-End Developer with expertise in Shopify to join our team. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining responsive and engaging eCommerce websites that deliver excellent user experiences. Your role will involve collaborating with our design, back-end, and marketing teams to implement high-quality front-end code and user interfaces that enhance our customers' shopping experience.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Build, maintain and customize responsive Shopify storefronts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify templating language).
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to bring website mockups to life.
Work closely with the marketing team to implement and update SEO best practices on websites.
Customize and integrate third-party Shopify apps and APIs into the store for enhanced functionality and features.
Perform regular maintenance, updates, and improvements on current Shopify sites, ensuring optimized performance and security.
Stay up to date with the latest eCommerce, front-end, and platform trends to continually improve the user experience.
Make bespoke themes and change all the pre-existing templates according to the predefined company guidelines.
Should be a professional in all areas of the E-commerce platform.
Producing high quality of work with a strong focus on detail.

Your skills and experience

2+ years of front-end development experience with a focus on Shopify.
Experience with Liquid and PHTML, XML.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, DOM, jQuery and familiarity with frameworks like React or Vue.js.
Understanding Shopify APIs and app integrations.
Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques for web applications.
Experience with the Magento platform and modern web technologies is a big plus.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for optimizing eCommerce websites.
Previous experience in creating responsive and unique layouts for mobile devices, tablets, and desktop.
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
Great attention to detail and being highly organized.
A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly.
