Job description
Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture across Business, Data, Application, and Technology layers.
- Define target architecture and transformation roadmaps for key domains: Digital Banking, Core Banking, Data & AI, and Integration.
- Establish and standardize reference architectures and architectural patterns (API-first, microservices, event-driven, cloud-native).
Architecture Governance
- Establish and operate the Architecture Governance Model, including the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
- Ensure all initiatives comply with defined architectural principles, standards, and target state.
- Coordinate architecture reviews with stakeholders across Business, Security, Risk, Legal, and IT.
Cloud, Platform & Integration Architecture
- Lead Cloud Adoption Strategy (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architecture design.
- Define architecture for microservices, API gateways, and event-driven integration.
- Standardize enterprise platforms including Digital Platform, Data Platform, AI Platform, and Integration Platform.
AI & Data Architecture Enablement
- Drive the adoption and scaling of AI/GenAI use cases across the organization.
- Define modern AI architecture, including ML/GenAI stack (Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, model lifecycle & fine-tuning)
- Vector databases (Milvus, PGVector)
- Orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, GCP Vertex AI)
- Ensure AI solutions are embedded into business workflows (automation, personalization, risk management).
Standards, Policies & Controls
- Define and enforce enterprise-wide policies for: Technology lifecycle management
- Cloud governance
- API strategy
- System decommissioning
- Ensure consistency, interoperability, and alignment across platforms and business units.
- Manage technical debt and continuously improve system quality.
Tools & Architecture Repository
- Implement and manage enterprise architecture tools for:
- Architecture modeling (TOGAF/ArchiMate tools)
- System mapping and repository management
- Maintain enterprise-wide architecture repository (capability map, system inventory, data flows).
System Quality, Security & Compliance
- Ensure architecture meets requirements for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Align designs with security standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., central bank regulations).
- Collaborate with Security, Risk, and Data teams to ensure end-to-end compliance.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Act as a bridge between Business, IT, Product, and Risk functions.
- Lead architecture communities of practice and engineering guilds.
- Provide architectural guidance to agile teams and ensure alignment with target architecture.
Your skills and experience
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including 3–5 years in Enterprise Architecture / Solution Architecture roles.
Proven experience in large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Architecture & Technology Expertise
Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman (or equivalent).
Deep expertise in:
Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Microservices, API design, and integration patterns
Full SDLC (design, deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management)
AI & Modern Technology Capability
Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML or GenAI solutions across at least two domains.
Strong understanding of modern AI architecture and enterprise-scale deployment.
Governance & Compliance
Solid understanding of enterprise security, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
Experience designing architectures compliant with regulated industry standards (e.g., banking).
Leadership & Soft Skills
Strong strategic thinking and system-level mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communities of practice.
