Job description

• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for embedded systems and firmware.
• Perform functional, regression, and system testing directly on embedded devices.
• Collaborate closely with developers and hardware engineers to understand system behavior and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Document test results, report bugs clearly, and follow up on issue resolution.
• Participate in test planning and contribute to improving testing processes.

Your skills and experience

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing.
• Strong ability to design and write test cases independently.
• Hands-on experience testing on embedded devices (e.g., IoT, firmware, microcontrollers).
• Familiarity with Linux environments and basic command-line operations.
• Good understanding of embedded system behavior and constraints.
• English communication skills: able to communicate effectively in a professional environment (speaking, reading, writing).

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing, data testing, or automotive embedded systems.
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash) for test support.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of embedded development environments or debugging tools.
