We’re rebuilding a global SaaS platform used by chefs and foodservice pros for over 20 years—with a fresh focus on AI, real-time data, and elegant infrastructure.
You’ll join a product-led team that values clean architecture, fast feedback loops, and writing documentation your future self will thank you for.
Your mission: lead our shift from Linode to AWS, set up GitOps CI/CD, and help us scale securely and cost-effectively.
🔧 Your Toolbox
☁️ Cloud Infrastructure
- AWS ECS (Fargate), ALB, Route 53, VPC, WAF
- Cost-optimised scaling with Karpenter or ASG
- Terraform-managed infrastructure
- Secrets Manager, IAM, ECR, S3
⚙️ CI/CD & Deployment
- GitLab pipelines + Git-based environments
- Docker containers with branch previews
- AWS CodeDeploy for zero-downtime releases
📊 Observability & Performance
- Grafana dashboards, Prometheus metrics
- Sentry + CloudWatch
- DORA metrics for team insights
🔒 Security & Compliance
- SOC-2 aligned: access control, secrets rotation
- Vulnerability scans, audit logging
🎯 What You’ll Do
- Lead migration from on-prem to scalable AWS infra
- Design and maintain GitOps-style CI/CD pipelines
- Define infra patterns that boost dev productivity
- Implement SOC-2 aligned security practices
- Set up monitoring and error tracking that just works
- Create clean docs

Your skills and experience
✅ Requirements
- 3+ years or more in DevOps/SRE roles supporting production systems
- Strong experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM)
- Proficient in Docker containerization and ECS orchestration
- Experience with GitOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
- SOC-2 or similar compliance knowledge and implementation
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Sentry, CloudWatch)
- Very good written English for documentation
- Experience with infrastructure migration projects
Bonus:
- DORA metrics implementation and team productivity optimization
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
- Cost optimization and FinOps practices
- Security tooling and vulnerability management
- Experience in Python or TypeScript is big plus
