In this role, you will be responsible for tasks in Master Data Management department, using your skills to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of our data assets. The Data Governance Expert position involves in developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Data Governance Frameworks: Design and execute data governance strategies and frameworks to ensure effective data management across the organization
  • Policy and Standards Development: Create and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Data Quality Management: Oversee data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, validation, and monitoring to maintain high standards of data accuracy and reliability
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units and other stakeholders to understand data needs, promote data governance practices, and resolve data-related issues
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure data governance practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate data-related risks
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data governance policies, practices, and tools
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of data governance practices and make recommendations for improvements

Your skills and experience

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Data Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing data governance projects and initiatives
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and methodologies
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Good command of English (4 skills)
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
