Recently, we've expanded our capabilities with MercTechs, a dynamic team of experts focused on providing customized software solutions. By collaboratively engaging with clients worldwide, we have successfully delivered solutions including Website Development, ERP Development, AI Distribution, and more.

MercTechs is now looking for a results-driven and analytically-minded Business Analyst to contribute to our team within the technology sector, especially in the Manufacturing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and technical teams.
• Proactively manage expectations, address concerns, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit and validate business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of client needs.

Client-Facing Requirements Elicitation & Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth interviews and requirement-gathering sessions with clients, translating their business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
• Analyze complex business processes, identify pain points, and propose innovative solutions to optimize manufacturing efficiency through technology implementations (with a focus on MES).
• Create detailed documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications, to ensure clear communication and project success.

Bridge the Gap Between Business & IT:

• Collaborate closely with the technical team to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring seamless integration of the MES with existing systems.
• Participate in solution design discussions, providing insights on feasibility and potential impacts on business processes.

Project Oversight & Quality Assurance:

• Lead and support the testing phase, ensuring the system meets business requirements and functions as expected.
• Develop and execute test plans, create test cases, and document test results.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Your skills and experience

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with demonstrable experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decisions, and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically, synthesize information, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Proficiency in using Google Office Suite, Figma, Draw.io, Balsamiq, and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello
• High-level skills in business process mapping, workflow analysis, and system testing methodologies
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, and time management skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and concepts
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or other related software
• Familiarity with production workflows, materials planning, and quality control within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to MES, such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and cycle time
• Ability to interpret and analyze data related to manufacturing operations using SQL
• Experience with SaaS or PaaS solutions
