Job Description:

This role is responsible for business analysis and product ownership activities for mobile ecommerce and AI-enabled digital product initiatives. The position works closely with business, marketing, operations, UI/UX, development, QA, and leadership teams to define product direction, translate business needs into delivery-ready requirements, and ensure successful release outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, validate, and prioritize business, functional, operational, and user requirements for mobile applications and related platforms.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, wireframe requirements, and clear product specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business, marketing, operations, UI/UX, development, QA, and leadership teams to align product strategy and execution.
  • Lead mobile product discovery, customer journey analysis, usability reviews, competitor analysis, and feature prioritization activities.
  • Coordinate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, product reviews, and release planning.
  • Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure intuitive, user-centric, accessible, and conversion-focused mobile experiences.
  • Drive AI integration initiatives such as personalization, intelligent search, chatbot features, recommendation engines, analytics, and workflow automation.
  • Support UAT activities, requirement clarifications, stakeholder communication, change management, and release readiness.
  • Leverage AI tools for market analysis, requirement generation, reporting, customer insights, workflow automation, and productivity optimization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure business priorities are translated into feasible, value-driven delivery plans aligned with stakeholder expectations.
  • Maintain clear communication between business and technical teams to reduce ambiguity, delivery risk, and rework.
  • Track product outcomes using KPIs, customer feedback, analytics, and operational insights to support continuous improvement.

Your skills and experience

What you'll need to succeed for this role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, or product management; mobile and ecommerce platform experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application development, ecommerce operations, customer journeys, and digital product lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, mobile usability, accessibility standards, and customer-centric design approaches.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, product delivery processes, and cross-functional collaboration models.
  • Ability to create business requirements, product specifications, process flows, acceptance criteria, and wireframe requirements.
  • Familiarity with mobile analytics, customer engagement tools, ecommerce ecosystems, and digital marketing concepts.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled solutions such as personalization engines, analytics platforms, intelligent automation, conversational AI, or recommendation systems.
  • Ability to leverage AI-assisted tools for reporting, requirement generation, market analysis, customer insights, workflow automation, and productivity enhancement.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, mentoring, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced Agile environments.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
