Job description

Automation SME is responsible for leading industrial automation, rail, digital manufacturing initiatives, providing technical leadership for automation teams, and delivering projects involving IIoT, MES, PLC, HMI, SCADA, OPC UA/DA, DCS, and related technologies. 
This role combines engineering expertise, solution architecture, team leadership to drive operational excellence, rail, digital transformation, manufacturing productivity improvements and project management.

• Act as Technical Lead for the Automation Engineering team.
• Define technical architecture and automation standards across projects.
• Review engineering designs, control strategies, and software development activities.
• Mentor and coach automation engineers and developers.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex automation and production issues.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Automation or Mechatronics major.
• Having 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, rail, or digital manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading automation, rail projects and engineering teams.
• Strong experience in manufacturing, rail environments.
• Has experience in site survey, PLC/RTU installation & wiring
• Programming skill: PLC, HMI
• Experience in working with protocols: OPC, DDE, Profibus, Modbus, TCP/IP
• Has knowledge of SCADA & DCS systems.
• Good responsibility and team work.
• Good at English skills (both verbal & non-verbal).
