About the company and project
Erria (Nasdaq First North Copenhagen: ERRIA) is a Danish maritime group with five companies, including Erria Container Services (ECS) and Mermaid Maritime Vietnam in HCMC. The group is building an AI-driven top-of-funnel sales engine — joining purchased maritime market data with the group's own emails, CRM knowledge and call transcripts to detect buying triggers and hand qualified leads to its business units. This is a greenfield, two-person founding AI team based in HCMC, employed by ECS, reporting directly to the Group CEO in Denmark. High autonomy, high visibility, modern stack.
The role — builds the agents customers meet
Builds the AI BDR layer on the data foundation laid by the senior engineer: living ideal-customer-profile agents per business unit, trigger detection, account dossier generation, and outreach dialogue with tiered autonomy (the agent qualifies leads; humans close). Includes conversation logging, human-review tooling and escalation rules. This role shapes how the group's AI talks to the market — it needs commercial judgment, not only engineering.
Your skills and experience
Must have:
- Proficient in English in all four skills.
- Experience: 2–5 years engineering, with LLM application or agent building shipped to production — ideally customer-facing.
- LLM stack: Hands-on LLM APIs — Anthropic Claude strongly preferred (API, tool use, agent patterns); prompt and dialogue design; evaluation and iteration discipline; logging/observability for AI systems.
- Commercial instinct:
- Can judge how a system should speak to a customer: tone, when to escalate to a human, what makes outreach welcome vs. spam.
- A technically strong candidate with no feel for customer conversations is a no.
- Tested directly in the work sample.
- Working style: Product sense; comfortable in a two-person team with high autonomy; professional working English.

Work sample (paid): Design an outreach agent's behavior for a given account scenario: tiering, escalation triggers, message tone and structure. Judged on commercial judgment and dialogue design as much as technical approach.
