What I liked:
I really value the autonomy I have at Employment Hero. Being able to work from home allows me to stay productive without the stress of a long commute, and I appreciate that the company trusts me to manage my own tasks. Working alongside colleagues from different countries has been a great experience for me; it has helped me learn how to collaborate effectively in a global environment and exposed me to high engineering standards.
The company also makes an effort to support my daily setup, providing a good equipment allowance and solid benefits. For me, it is a place where I can focus on building a quality product while still having enough time and energy for my personal life. It feels like a mature environment where people are judged by their results rather than their "face-time" at the office.
I feel my time is respected here. There is no pressure to work late as long as I meet my goals and deliver quality work.
Suggestions for improvement:
Since I work remotely most of the time, I sometimes miss the chance to connect with my local colleagues in person. I think it would be helpful to have more informal team gatherings or occasional co-working days for the Vietnam team. This would help us build stronger professional relationships and make it easier for new team members to feel part of the community.
