EcoTruck is a tech start-up in logistics industry.
Mission: Increase the efficiency of the industry. The goal is to decrease logistics costs by 1% of GDP (saving >US$2bn for the whole economy) in 5 years
Solution: Bring the efficiency to a very outdated industry by:
- A Sharing Economy model with a total transparency and a lot of operational localization for Vietnam market.
- Cutting-edge Technologies with data to streamline operations and save costs for both merchants and vendors
- Customer Services to handle issues that need human interaction
At EcoTruck
- FLAT and OPEN : everyone has a right to raise issue and prove solution (base on data driven method). Either CTO or CEO can't reject if the vision of data show the correctness.
- FLEXIBLE : Engineers are encouraged and given research time to apply new technology into platform, and it can be failed as long as engineers know why and it can help platform better.
- ENGINEERING CENTRIC: we don't use PM as decision maker. Any new features are selected, investigated and developed by engineer.
Our key skills
We use microservice architect (30+ services) in Google Cloud Platform. Primary backend language is Python, Angular JS for frontend and native Android & iOS for mobile app.
We applied full cycle of CI/CD, agile, peer review and unit test by engineers. Engineers are encouraged and given research time to apply new technology into platform, and it can be failed as long as engineers know why and it can help platform better
