Bill and I established Amanotes with the initial mission to help everyone even amateurs can play and enjoy music with the support of technology - a smartphone and simple actions.

Everyone is the leader. Our talents have the freedom to pursue and achieve their goals. Quality and performance are what we care.

Lucky me to join Amanotes at the early stage of my career. Amanotes is an open working environment where you can possibly learn new things and receive support from your beloved colleagues. Besides, music is truly the core value of Amanotes, you can feel it in both working and entertaining.

How to adapt, upgrade and improve myself. When working in a start-up, especially a fast growing start-up like Amanotes, everyday is a new challenge.

It must be Music Night which is the internal music show held every 3 months. We enthusiastically practiced for weeks to prepare for the performance. I would never expect that these tech guys sitting next to me every day can become such amazing singers on the stage. This activity really makes us closer and make an office feel like home.

Running Marathon. (I know it may surprise you). After joining Amanotes for a month, I knew an internal Marathon group by chance and got the invitation, then I said "I'm in. Why not?". We motivate and encourage each other to run and work. This little thing maintains my healthy work-life balance. At Amanotes, we work hard and play hard

The freedom and flexibility to work from anywhere. They help a lot, especially if you'd like to focus on a specific task, brainstorm with your colleagues or get into a meeting and work things out with different stakeholders, there's always that option.

Adaptability is key. Being an expatriate working in Vietnam comes with a few interesting challenges especially language barrier. I've found myself in many meetings where we need to go back and forth to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Challenge accepted. Now I'm cool.
