Job description

We are looking for an experienced Windows Application Engineer to join our team, focusing on maintaining and enhancing existing Windows-based desktop applications. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in C# and C++, and a passion for solving complex problems in a collaborative environment.

• Maintain and support legacy Windows desktop applications in a cross-functional team.
• Investigate and resolve software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement bug fixes.
• Optimize application performance and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to design and execute test plans for maintenance updates.
• Refactor and enhance existing codebase while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Document technical changes, fixes, and enhancements clearly and thoroughly.
• Share technical knowledge and provide support to team members when needed.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in C# and C++ programming.
• At least 5 years of experience in Windows application development.
• Solid understanding of Windows application architecture and software development lifecycle.
• Good command of English, especially in reading and writing technical documentation.
• Experience with COM and MFC programming.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with PHP development.
• Knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server or MySQL
