Job description

Job Summary: The Technical Product Owner drives the product direction of OrangeDAM’s internal-facing modules - the same platform trusted by the world’s largest enterprises, applied to our own operations. Our Sales, Operations, Delivery, and Implementation teams rely on OrangeDAM every day, and their needs deserve the same product rigor we bring to our customers. Working side by side with a dedicated development team, this role owns the roadmap and design of these internal iterations, ships improvements that internal teams genuinely adopt, and channels the best of that work back into the product we offer our customers. This role reports to the Lead of Delivery Management & TPM and partners closely with a dedicated development team, internal stakeholders across the company, and the global Product team.

Essential Functions:

Product Ownership & Roadmap

  • Own and maintain a prioritized roadmap for OrangeDAM's internal-facing modules, balancing the needs of Sales, Operations, Delivery, and Implementation teams against business impact.
  • Establish a structured intake and prioritization process so internal needs are evaluated deliberately rather than falling behind customer-facing work.
  • Act as the single accountable product voice for the development team - reducing ambiguity, making trade-off decisions, and keeping each iteration focused on outcomes.

Discovery & Requirement Definition

  • Gather needs directly from internal users: observe their workflows, identify friction, and validate problems before committing to solutions.
  • Translate validated needs into clear, well-scoped requirements and user stories that the development team can estimate and build from.
  • Drive the design of each iteration, applying strong UX judgment to workflows, wireframes, and usability decisions.

Delivery with the Development Team

  • Manage the team's backlog end to end: refinement, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, and iteration reviews.
  • Make pragmatic scope decisions during development, protecting delivery momentum without sacrificing quality of outcome.
  • Verify delivered work against the intended outcomes before releasing it to internal users.

Adoption & Impact

  • Own the rollout of new capabilities to internal teams, including communication, documentation, and training.
  • Measure the adoption and impact of what ships, and feed those learnings back into the roadmap.

Productization & Product Feedback Loop

  • Identify internal improvements whose value extends beyond our own operations, and champion their generalization into the customer-facing product in partnership with the global Product team.
  • Turn our internal use of OrangeDAM into a proving ground: surface product gaps, usability issues, and opportunities that only day-to-day use can reveal.

Your skills and experience

The most successful candidates for this role will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager on complex, cross-functional enterprise (B2B) software.
  • A deep understanding of UI/UX and its impact on product design and development - able to drive the design of an iteration, not just document it.
  • Proven ability to gather needs from diverse stakeholders and turn them into prioritized, buildable requirements.
  • Open-minded and willing to venture off the beaten track.
  • A conceptual-level understanding of software components (e.g., software architectures, APIs, databases, or infrastructure) and how they interact and integrate, sufficient to communicate effectively with engineering teams, assess risks, and make informed decisions without requiring hands-on coding expertise.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Digital Asset Management, content platforms, or other highly configurable enterprise systems.
  • The ability to query data (SQL or logs) and use quantitative evidence to inform prioritization.
  • Hands-on experience running Scrum ceremonies with a development team; CSPO or equivalent certification.
