Job description

At Aletech, we are looking for a Technical Lead / Solution Architect whose greatest strengths are communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking. While strong technical expertise is essential, what truly sets the right person apart is the ability to cut through ambiguity, reason rigorously about trade-offs, and explain complex ideas clearly to anyone — from engineers to business stakeholders.

You will own the technical direction of key initiatives: working directly with the business team, translating their needs into scalable solutions, making the key architectural decisions, and leading a development team to bring those solutions to life. Technology is the toolkit; clear thinking and clear communication are the job.
This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring that solutions align with company goals while maintaining strong technical leadership.

1. Communication & Collaboration (Most Important)

  • Communicate effectively and clearly with both business and technical teams.
  • Explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders in simple, persuasive terms.
  • Facilitate discussions, build consensus, and influence decisions without relying on authority.
  • Produce clear documentation, proposals, and decision records that the whole team can follow.

2. Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking (Most Important)

  • Break down ambiguous, open-ended problems into structured, actionable steps.
  • Question assumptions and validate them with evidence rather than taking them at face value.
  • Weigh competing trade-offs and drive to well-reasoned, defensible decisions.
  • Anticipate risks, gaps, and edge cases early — and stay calm and effective under pressure.

3. Business & Technical Alignment

  • Work directly with the business team to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Understand business requirements and how they impact system design.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for development.

4. Solution Design & Implementation

  • Architect, design, and develop scalable full-stack applications.
  • Make key technical decisions on architecture, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ensure high performance, maintainability, and security of applications.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

5. Team Management & Execution

  • Manage a development team (3-5 members), ensuring successful project execution.
  • Assign and oversee tasks, ensuring efficient implementation of technical solutions.
  • Set high coding standards, perform code reviews, and enforce best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.

Your skills and experience

  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written) — able to explain complex ideas clearly to any audience.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills — comfortable with ambiguity and reasoning through trade-offs.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with 3+ years in a technical lead or architecture role.
  • Experience working directly with business teams to understand and shape requirements.
  • Proven experience designing scalable, distributed systems and making key architectural decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET.
  • Expertise in web technologies, including Node.js, React.js, NestJS.
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL and SQL Server.
  • Proven ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code and to lead a team to the same standard.
