Job Description

As a Shopify Project Leader, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing our global e-commerce platform and other application systems. You will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered with the highest quality standards.

• Project Leadership: Lead system integration (SI) and system management (SM) projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion. This includes coordinating with developers who use NodeJS and PHP for Shopify-related tasks.
• System Management: Manage system changes, deployments, and support customers with their technical needs. This may involve working with NodeJS and PHP to implement and maintain Shopify functionalities.
• Communication: Facilitate effective communication between customers and developers to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met. Understanding NodeJS and PHP can help bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Customer Management: Handle key customer interactions, listen to and address feedback (VOC), analyze and support received tasks, and propose and discover new business opportunities.

Your skills and experience

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT development/ operation project management
• Experienced in managing collaboration among stakeholders such as customers and Vietnamese developers within the project team.
• Experienced in participating as a project manager or project member in IT services for the global market.
• Must have maintenance, launch, and shop construction expertise and have a general understanding of the admin system.
• Has previous experience in Storefront API and working with custom theme.
• Has working knowledge in liquid templating and theming system of Shopify.
• Previous experience in debugging or implementing 3rd-party Shopify applications and making unique solutions when it’s required. (Preferred)
• Must have the ability to provide proactive feedback and interact effectively.
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies.
• Demonstrated strong understanding of at least one modern JS framework/library, e.g. ReactJS, VueJS, NextJS, AngularJS.
• Ability to code review and mentor junior/mid developers. (Preferred)

Skills / Knowledge:

• Fluent in business English with effective communication skills to communicate directly with customers (mandatory).
• Strong human resource management skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and performance evaluation.
• Strong issue-resolution skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges promptly and effectively.
• Willingness to adapt flexibly to changes in clients' requirements and urgent requests is a plus.

2.  Working Environment

• Working time: Monday – Friday. We work 40 hours per week.
