Job description

Position Summary

The ServiceNow Platform Architect serves as the senior technical authority for the enterprise ServiceNow platform, responsible for defining architecture standards, governance frameworks, and technical strategy across the ServiceNow ecosystem. Working closely with platform administrators, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, this role ensures solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles and ServiceNow best practices.

The role provides architectural leadership for the CEOS ServiceNow SPM implementation while supporting the long-term growth, modernization, and governance of the broader ServiceNow platform.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the technical vision, architecture standards, design patterns, and development best practices for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Lead architecture and technical governance for complex initiatives, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
  • Review and approve solution designs, integrations, and platform configurations to ensure consistency and long-term platform health.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and platform administrators; guide architectural decisions and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Drive platform modernization initiatives, upgrades, releases, and continuous improvement efforts while proactively reducing technical debt.
  • Evaluate emerging ServiceNow capabilities and recommend adoption strategies that maximize business value and platform maturity.
  • Partner with business leaders and product teams to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and support strategic roadmap development.
  • Promote reusable solutions, architectural consistency, and effective governance across ServiceNow products and integrations.

Your skills and experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience in architecture, development, administration, or implementation.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
  • One or more advanced ServiceNow certifications such as CAD, CIS, or CTA preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and governing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, platform governance, integrations, scripting, and security.
  • Experience supporting multiple ServiceNow products, including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, CSM, or App Engine.
  • English proficiency at B2 CEFR level or above (or equivalent) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading enterprise ServiceNow architecture and platform governance.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies, APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
  • Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Experience establishing platform standards, governance models, and technical roadmaps.
