Job description

We are seeking a practical, experienced Senior Tester to serve as our primary quality gatekeeper and be ready to take responsibility for leading the test team soon. 

In this role, your core mission is to deeply understand project specifications, ensure the development team's code strictly matches business requirements, and safeguard release deadlines:
- Requirement Clarification: Thoroughly review specifications, communicate with the project team to identify ambiguities, missing logic, and edge cases.
- Quality Control: Build focused test plans and test scenarios directly mapped to business requirements and acceptance criteria; Work side-by-side with developers daily: log clear, reproducible bug reports and verify fixes promptly to unblock progress.
- Timeline & Risk Management: Align test schedules with sprint milestones to prevent testing bottlenecks at the end of cycles; Identify and raise early red flags on schedule risks
For this position, you may work across multiple projects at the same time and support team members in meeting their project requirements and delivery timelines.

Your skills and experience

- Experience: Years of experience in Software QA /QC, including at least 1 year as a Test Lead or Senior QA responsible for project output.
- English: Strong English communication skills to align technical requirements and drive day-to-day communication between the Australian team and developers.
- Requirement Analysis: Exceptional ability to translate complex business logic into actionable, edge-case-proof test cases.
- Timeline Discipline: Proven capability in managing test priorities against tight release deadlines without sacrificing core quality.
