Job description

• Analyze customer requirements and propose design and AI software solutions to meet their needs.
• Troubleshoot various issues and propose feasible solutions.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to ensure project success.
• Adapt to frequent change requests from customers.
• Stay updated with state-of-the-art technologies and research papers to implement them in actual products.
• Debug and maintain software running on target devices.
• Participate in complete prototype/product development, including both hardware and software.
• Occasional onsite opportunities for customer visits or knowledge transfer to Japan or other countries.

Your skills and experience

Required:

• Strong proficiency in C++/Python programming and engineering skills.
• Highly valued experience in Computer Vision/AI, including algorithms, OpenCV library, OpenGL, Vision AI modeling, and Deep/Machine Learning.
• Expertise in visual camera-related software development, such as Camera Calibration, Stereo Matching, Visual Pose Estimation, and Visual Inspection.
• Knowledge of Software Algorithm R&D, particularly in SLAM, Graph Optimization, Optimizers, Solvers, 6D Pose Estimation, FFT, DFT, etc.
• Experience with cross-platform development, preferably Linux and Android, on various hardware platforms such as Nvidia, Snapdragon, FPGA, etc.
• Strong research and feasibility analysis skills to evaluate the practicality and viability of new ideas and technologies.
• Ability to debug and maintain embedded systems.

Preferred:

• Enthusiasm for researching and studying new technology fields, tools, and knowledge.
• Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-motivated, creative, and independent, with the ability to make technical decisions.
• English is an advantage
