Job description

You understand the true meaning of MLOps. You are both a passionate developer, but also have a deep interest in deployment and operations in a serverless environment. If this applies to you, you are the right person for our Machine Learning team.

Job Definition:

• Design the AWS cloud infrastructure
• Setup tooling for “Infrastructure as Code”, following the “cattle, not pets” approach
• Implementation, deployment and ongoing management of AWS cloud infrastructure (e.g. storage, databases, compute, OS, monitoring,..)
• Gather, structure and store data for the usage of our ML algorithms
• Further design and implementation of our backends
• Build frontends to illustrate the results of machine learning algorithms
• Assume technical responsibility for specific areas of our applications

Your skills and experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a software developer and DevOps
• Well versed with administration of and operation of (fully) managed services & microservices and containerization.
• Well experienced with programming in Python/Javascript and ReactJS
• Experienced with the following products and technologies:
  • IaC tools and frameworks (ideally Terraform, CDK and AWS CloudFormation)
  • Network, storage, compute (virtual machines, container, serverless), monitoring in AWS
  • Managed AWS database services (e.g. ElasticSearch, DynamoDB)
  • Beneficial: Microsoft Azure DevOps for CI/CD
• Familiar in serverless-architecture, -frameworks and -tools on AWS
• Ideally “AWS DevOps” certification
• Fluent in English, any additional language is a bonus
