Job description

This position is for Senior .NET Developers (.NET/Angular) to join our CodeHQ Vietnam team in HCMC (Quan 12). 

The initial project will be for CodeHQ’s client who is the largest provider of technology solutions for the film industry sectors in New Zealand. You will be working on a web application that will require strong .NET and Angular skills.  Experience with cloud technologies will also be advantageous. 

Your skills and experience

Essential skills:

• .NET Development: Proven experience in building scalable web applications using .NET Core, C# and Web API.
• Angular Development: Strong experience with Angular 2+, TypeScript, and front-end development best practices.
• API Integration & Testing: Strong skills in API integration, asynchronous data handling, testing, and debugging for high-quality, reliable applications.
• Experience with database design and optimization (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Good understanding of the Agile/Scrum development methodology.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of authentication and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, Identity Server).
• Experience in unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).

Essential soft skills:

• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written. IELTS certification preferred.
• Strong team player, positive attitude, and professionalism.
• 5+ years’ practical experience in designing, developing and delivering commercial software applications
• Experience with working with overseas customers.
