Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Liferay CMS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, deploying, and maintaining highly scalable and robust web applications using Java and Liferay CMS. You will oversee end-to-end development processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.

What do you need to do? (Duties and Responsibilities)

• Develop and customize Liferay-based web portals, themes, and portlets
• Implement workflows, content management features, and integrations within the Liferay ecosystem
• Work on Liferay DXP for enterprise-level applications
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
• Integrate third-party APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and databases
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React.js or Angular
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components
• Design and manage relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Write optimized SQL queries and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
• Collaborate with architects to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and reusable codebases
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers on the team
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure software quality
• Deploy and maintain applications in various environments, including cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

Your skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Full-Stack Developer, with a focus on Liferay CMS
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level applications
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
• Advanced knowledge of Liferay CMS/DXP
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services (SOAP/REST)
• Proficiency in database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
