Job description

1. JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Executive to join our Technology Services team, focusing on Infrastructure and Security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network administration, system management, and security management, with a minimum of 5 years in the field. The role involves managing and maintaining our network devices, servers, and security systems to ensure the smooth operation and protection of our IT infrastructure.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Network Administration:

• Manage and maintain network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and cabling.
• Handle IP address assignments and DNS configurations.
• Configure and manage VPNs, firewalls, and intranet systems.
• Maintain leased lines to external entities such as HSX, HNX, VSD, banks, headquarters, branches, disaster recovery sites, and regional sites.
• Ensure network user maintenance and implement safety strategies.
• Consult and improve network scalability to handle increased loads.

b. System Management:

• Administer servers and operating systems.
• Manage VMWare, Backup, Active Directory and DNS systems.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and SAN Storage management.
• Implement user access management and backup strategies.
• Manage internet, web servers, and homepages.
• Handle software license management.

c. Security Management:

• Implement and manage anti-virus and anti-malware solutions and other security tools.
• Perform patching for server and network devices.
• Collaborate with Regional teams for Regional Security and Infrastructure (RSI) initiatives.
• Develop security strategies and policies.
• Manage and monitor firewalls and security policies.
• Conduct periodic penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Protect company networks from external threats and intrusions.
• Review and plan improvements to security measures.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for infrastructure and security protocols

4. Others: Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of IT.

Your skills and experience

• University Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure & Security.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux/AIX operating systems.
• Experience with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortinet.
• Experience in the financial industry is advantageous.
• Excellent command of English.
• Detail-oriented with a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
• Skills needed:
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and SAN Storage
• Certifications such as MCSA, CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP.
