Job description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to improve and fulfill the technical direction of the product.
• Evangelize and promote best practices in JavaScript (React.js, Node.js).
• Maintain a strong passion for JavaScript (React.js, Node.js), staying updated with advancements and implementing them in existing or new systems.
• Design, develop, review, implement, and manage React.js and Node.js application code and services for production and pre-release environments.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their professional growth and development.
• Work in a team with software engineers, product owners, and UI/UX designers to create and continuously enhance end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in Agile software development, including prototyping and code review, to build scalable microservices-based products.

Your skills and experience

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in architecting, developing and deploying modern architectural patterns/techniques.
• Experience in building, integrating and operating highly distributed applications (Microservices, SOA, self-contained systems).
• Experience in event-driven architectures, messaging patterns and Apache Kafka is a plus.
• Solid experience in designing & developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based system.
• Solid experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of standard Software Engineering process and Agile methodology.
• Excellent software engineering skills and solution driven way of thinking.
• Experience with React or other declarative UI frameworks is a plus.
• Experience in AWS or other cloud environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security.
• Excellent command of English language.
