We are building the next generation of the CodeIT Enterprise™ platform — new web-based products such as Core Portal and LabelDesign 2.0 — using the most recent technologies like React, Node.js, and MongoDB. At the same time, we continue to maintain and incrementally modernize our mature .NET / WPF desktop application that customers rely on in production today.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON, WHO WILL

• Develop web-based products together with other team members using modern technologies such as NodeJS, ReactJS, and JavaScript (or TypeScript), backed by MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Maintain, support, and incrementally modernize our existing .NET (C#) / WPF desktop platform.
• Be involved in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Research and identify root causes of defects and issues.
• Actively leverage AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and similar) for coding, debugging, testing, and learning — while critically reviewing and taking responsibility for the AI-generated output.
• Rethink how we build — proactively identify where AI can reshape our workflows and quality practices, not just speed up existing steps.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency by recommending process enhancements and additional features.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
• Work as part of a team and participate in Agile scrum activities as needed.

Your skills and experience

A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• Possess around 4-6 years of experience in software development using JavaScript (we value demonstrated skills and output over years on the CV):
• Strong experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, JavaScript (or TypeScript), and CSS frameworks.
• Experience with both non-relational databases (NoSQL - especially MongoDB) and relational databases (SQL).
• Working proficiency in C#/.NET - able to read, debug, and modify an existing application. Deep expertise is not required, but you must be comfortable maintaining the legacy platform.
• SOLID mindset and a good understanding of design patterns and software architectures.
• Experience with the Agile development process.
• Experience in Unit testing.
• An AI-first mindset — you actively use AI tools in your daily work and critically evaluate their output.
• Good coding, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Good English, both written and conversational.
• Attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
• Honest, self-disciplined, and self-motivated.
• Proactive, friendly, and open-minded.

Plus Skills

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with any chart library (ChartJS, eChart…).
• Experience with WPF or Windows desktop applications.
• Experience with GraphQL, real-time communication (WebSocket, MQTT), or message queues.
• Nice if you have experience in Docker, Linux, and cloud (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with industrial software, manufacturing systems, or hardware/device integration.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems or bridging legacy and modern platforms.
