About the Company: GrapeSEED is part of the GrapeCity family of companies, delivering international English curriculum to children aged 4–12. Our technology suite is used by teachers, students, parents, and staff for instruction, progress tracking, and operational efficiency. As part of our platform modernization, we are strengthening our data engineering capability across our global teams.

Role Summary:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows
• Build and maintain robust data infrastructure, including data lakes and data warehouses
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering Lead, Solution Architect, and cross-functional global teams to deliver data solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance
• Implement best practices for ETL processes and data modeling

Your skills and experience

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, including senior-level responsibility
• Experience with dimensional modeling
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms, especially AWS data engineering services (Azure is a plus)
• Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), with strong SQL proficiency
• Proficiency in ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes; knowledge of CI/CD for data pipelines
• Proficient English communication (our working language across global teams)
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, high professional ethics and responsibility
