Job description

TeenCare is building the intelligence layer for modern parenting — combining human mentorship, parent coaching, behavioral insight, and AI.

We are looking for a Head of AI Operations & Automation to own the design and implementation of AI agents, automation workflows, internal tools, and operational dashboards that power the company's core operations.

Depending on your background, this role can lean toward operations leadership (strategy, workflow design, team enablement) or hands-on technical execution (building AI agents, integrating APIs, shipping internal tools) — or both.

You will work directly with the founder, product, engineering, sales, operations, and mentor quality teams to turn messy workflows into scalable AI-assisted systems.

What You'll Own
Core responsibilities shared across both tracks:
•      Map and redesign business workflows across sales, onboarding, delivery, support, and finance.
•      Design and build AI agents for call QA, lead scoring, family diagnosis, mentor support, parent progress updates, churn risk, and revenue reconciliation.
•      Connect AI workflows with CRM, call transcripts, internal tools, payment systems, scheduling tools, and dashboards.
•      Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, and human-in-the-loop approval flows for all AI systems.
•      Create dashboards to track workflow performance and agent quality.
•      Build SOPs and documentation for AI-assisted operations.
•      Work cross-functionally with sales, ops, mentor quality, product, and engineering.
•      Continuously improve systems based on real business outcomes.
If you join as Head (leadership track), you will additionally:
•      Lead and grow the AI operations team as the company scales.
•      Write clear product specs and define success metrics for engineers and tool builders.
•      Train and enable teams to adopt new AI-powered workflows.
•      Monitor quality, risk, and human override loops across the entire system.
•      Set the strategic roadmap for TeenCare's AI-first operating model.
 

Your skills and experience

Requirements
•      3–7+ years in product operations, business operations, revenue operations, automation, product management, or startup operations — OR equivalent engineering experience building AI/automation systems (in the role of a leader)
•      Strong fluency with AI tools, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, or similar), and automation platforms.
•      Ability to structure and redesign messy workflows with clarity.
•      Strong debugging ability across APIs, tools, and integrated systems.
•      Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
•      Fast execution mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
•      Strong business judgment and operational discipline.


Technical track also requires:
•      Strong backend ability in Python or Node.js / TypeScript.
•      Experience with APIs, webhooks, databases, SQL, JSON, and cloud deployment basics.
•      Comfortable building internal tools, integrations, and lightweight review queues.

Strong Plus
•      Experience with AI agents, LLM workflows, RAG, vector databases, or human-in-the-loop systems.
•      Experience with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Retool, Airtable, Supabase, Firebase, Postgres, HubSpot, Fireflies, Gong, or similar.
•      Experience in CRM automation, sales QA, customer support automation, product analytics, or internal tooling.
•      Background in education, healthcare, parenting, coaching, or service businesses.
•      Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or transcription and analytics tooling.

AI Automation Engineer
•      Built and shipped live AI agents used daily by sales, ops, and mentor quality teams.
•      Connected AI workflows with CRM, call transcripts, payment systems, and scheduling tools.
•      Implemented logging, error handling, and human-in-the-loop approval flows.
•      Reduced manual work 
•      Established a reliable, maintainable agent codebase as the foundation for future builds.
Head of AI Operations & Automation
•      Mapped TeenCare's core revenue-delivery workflow end to end.
•      Designed and launched the first live internal AI agents used by real teams.
•      Built dashboards tracking agent performance and operational bottlenecks.
•      Improved sales follow-up, parent updates, and workflow consistency.
•      Reduced manual work and improved operating speed or quality.
•      Created a scalable foundation for TeenCare's agent-based operating model 
Compensation
