[Hybrid] Backend Engineer (Python, Django/FastAPI)

Job description

• Design & build RESTful APIs using Django / FastAPI 
• Work closely with frontend team to design clean, scalable API contracts 
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, Handle async processing with Celery 
• Optimize database queries for large datasets 
• Implement caching strategies (Redis) for performance 
• Ensure system reliability when integrating external e-commerce APIs

Your skills and experience

• > 4 years experience with Python backend (Django / FastAPI) 
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL 
• Experience with Celery or background job processing 
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT workflows, Batch & incremental sync 
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, Next.js 

Nice to Have 

• Message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka is a plus) 
• Familiarity with Airflow, ClickHouse, dbt is a plus Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes is a plus 
• Experience working with e-commerce APIs is a strong advantage
