Job description

Key Accountabilities (1): Automation & Performance QE Strategy

·       Own automation and performance QE strategy across complex platforms and high-impact technology initiatives.

·       Establish quality standards, automation governance, performance testing practices, quality gates, and release readiness criteria.

·       Drive maturity of automation frameworks, reusable test assets, performance practices, reporting, and engineering efficiency.

·       Oversee performance testing for critical journeys, APIs, integrations, services, and system components.

·       Provide senior quality recommendations based on automation coverage, performance results, defect trends, and release risks.

Key Accountabilities (2): Quality Governance, Risk & Improvement

·       Establish quality controls through monitoring, reporting, audit, root cause analysis, and post-release review.

·       Manage quality, performance, security, compliance, operational, and release risks across teams and vendors.

·       Improve quality metrics, dashboards, defect prevention, lessons learned, and continuous improvement practices.

·       Ensure testing tools, environments, access, test data, and automation processes meet quality and delivery standards.

·       Partners with Product Owner, Development Engineering, Business Unit, BA, DevOps, Architecture, Security, and vendors on quality-first decisions.

Key Accountabilities (3): People Leadership & QE Excellence

·       Lead, coach, and develop QE leads and engineers with strong focus on automation and performance capability.

·       Set team priorities, KPIs, delivery expectations, and quality standards aligned with business and technology objectives.

·       Build and retain a high-performing QE team through hiring, onboarding, feedback, coaching, and development planning.

·       Promote quality ownership, engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across delivery teams.

·       Act as senior quality advisor for release of readiness, risk trade-offs, major defects, and improvement priorities.

Your skills and experience

Qualifications and Experience

·       University graduate or higher majoring in information technology, computing, telecommunications, finance or banking

·       Foreign language: English/ according to TCB's regulations in each period

·       Work Experience: 8 -10 years of experience in managing a team that conducts software testing assessments in financial/services/telecommunications organizations.

·       Strong professional knowledge of technology systems in the bank.

·       Having solid testing professional knowledge as ISTQB (International Testing Certificate is preferred) or equivalent knowledge and experience.

·       Knowledge of at least 1 programming language and SQL Server database.

·       Having understanding, knowledge in working with quality standards such as TCVN, ISO, Lean Six Sigma,...

·       Experience in information technology and banking - Experience in software testing
