QA Engineer

Job description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Company’s products and systems. Key responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating closely with the development team to resolve issues, and ensuring that all deliverables meet established quality standards. The QA Engineer also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to processes, tools, and methodologies.               

JOB DESCRIPITION                

1. Design and execute comprehensive test plans to identify, report, and resolve software defects.

2. Develop and automate testing frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage of QA processes.

3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective testing approaches.

4. Analyze test results, document findings clearly, and provide actionable recommendations for product improvements.

5. Stay current with industry best practices, emerging testing tools, and methodologies to continuously improve QA processes.     

Your skills and experience

1. Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in fintech, Web 3 or IT-related industries.

3. Experience in both manual and automated testing is an advantage.

4. Proficient in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.

5. Knowledge of QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or similar.

6. Strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.

7. Fluent in English (both written and spoken), proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
