We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to join our dynamic team, which serves a Group Buisness focusing on Banking/Finance/Securities. In this role, you will play a critical role in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of various large transformation programs on BFSI within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of the digital banking transformation program, including strategy development, project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop a comprehensive roadmap for digital banking initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s business goals and digital transformation strategy
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for all program-related activities, engaging with senior stakeholders across the organization, including C-suite executives, to ensure program objectives are met
- Responsible for managing the scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks of all projects while also ensuring that the team adheres to the Agile principles and practices.
- Monitor project performance and progress, adjusting plans as necessary to address challenges and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program status, risks, and opportunities. Ensure clear communication and transparency regarding timelines, milestones, and potential roadblocks
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, product, operations, compliance, risk) and external partners (vendors, fintech companies) to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Provide regular updates on progress, costs, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and issues within the program, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize impact.
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring that new digital banking solutions are effectively adopted by customers and employees
Your skills and experience
- 7+ years of Technical Project Management with at least 3 yoe at Senior PM level in the tech industry, focusing on Banking/Securities with 40+ team members.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Banking/Finance, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, high-stakes programs.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive management
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify, assess, and resolve program risks, issues, and roadblocks.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences through digital channels.
- Certification in good standing, such as PMP, PgMP, Agile or other project management certifications, are preferred.
- Proficient in Project management and collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, Teams..)
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to develop a vision for the direction of the product.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of IT technologies used in the banking/securities industry.
- Technical background or experiences in hands-on coding tasks is a plus.
