Job description

As a Product Owner at Zalopay, you will:

• Own and develop products in domains such as personal finance (savings, investments), CRM, or other relevant financial solutions tailored to the Vietnamese market.
• Collaborate across functions with Business, Marketing, Engineering, Design, Customer Support, and Partnerships to deliver seamless product experiences.
• Analyze user behavior and market trends to identify opportunities and guide product direction.
• Lead product development by building roadmaps, writing product requirement documents (PRDs), managing backlogs, and working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Your skills and experience

Fresher/Junior Product Owner

• Basic understanding of product management principles and the software development lifecycle.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market insights to support product decisions.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive learning attitude and eagerness to grow in a dynamic fintech environment.

Middle Product Owner

• Experience: 1–2 years as a Product Owner or in a related role.
• Product management skills: Capable of writing clear PRDs, managing sprints, and setting priorities.
• UX proficiency: Familiar with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Technical collaboration: Able to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with developers.
• Data-driven mindset: Comfortable with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Metabase, Power BI) to support decision-making.

Senior Product Owner

• Experience: 3–5+ years in product management, ideally in fintech or financial services.
• Strategic thinking: Ability to define long-term product strategy aligned with business goals.
• Leadership: Experience mentoring junior team members and leading product squads.
• Complex project handling: Able to manage multi-stakeholder projects with clear delivery outcomes.
• Market knowledge: Strong understanding of the Vietnamese financial ecosystem and relevant regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fintech experience: Background in e-wallets, banks, financial institutions, or intermediary payment providers.
