Job description

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with a strong background in Spring Boot and experience in building scalable backend systems for mobile applications with a large user base. As a key member of our backend team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, reliable backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Architect & Design scalable and maintainable backend systems for high-traffic applications.
• Lead Development by implementing best practices in backend engineering, code quality, and performance optimization.
• Optimize Performance to ensure low-latency, high-availability services.
• Mentor & Guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Own the Backend Roadmap, making key architectural decisions on databases, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Ensure Security & Compliance by implementing industry best practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Collaborate Across Teams, working closely with product managers, frontend engineers, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Drive Innovation, staying up-to-date with industry trends and integrating new technologies where applicable.

Your skills and experience

8+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 2+ years in a senior or principal role.
✅ Strong expertise in one or more backend languages: Node.js, Go, Java, Python, or C#.
✅ Deep experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and distributed computing.
✅ Proficiency in databases (SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL / NoSQL: MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
✅ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
✅ Strong API development experience (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
✅ Expertise in caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
