Job description

Position Summary :

• The candidate will be responsible for all network and security related tasks/projects, ensuring highest reliability and scalability of our Production network services which are hosted in AWS.
• Our ideal candidate is a professional with experience in network automation via modern technology stack. The candidate is required to understand and manage a broad list of networking and security tools such as cloud & data centre networking, load balancing, Anti-DDoS, WAF, monitoring, CDN, and web/network optimization.

Your skills and experience

Responsibilities:

• Build, scale, and monitor various complex networking and security services in our AWS cloud platform infrastructure.
• Manage the networking components in our containerization environment (Docker & Kubernetes).
• Manage and support multitier architecture focusing on web technology stack (DNS, Load Balancing, CDN, Anti-DDoS, WAF, Reverse Proxy).
• Find solutions to problems that disrupt availability, performance and stability of our network.

Skill Requirements: 

• Strong knowledge in AWS Cloud (virtual networking, VPC, IPSec, ELB, auto-scaling).
• Manage and support Juniper SRX firewall, Cisco switches, as well as layer-7 Peplink load balancer in offices.
• Strong knowledge in networking monitoring and logging (InfluxDB, Cacti/MRTG, Elastic Stack).
• Knowledge in VPN, Routing, Linux, Nginx, and VMWare virtual networking.
• Experience in at least one programming language of your choice (Python or Bash/Shell is preferred) is a plus.
• Essential knowledge in Anycast & BGP is preferred. 
• Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related discipline. 
• At least 2 years of experience working in IT systems environment. 
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written. 
• Self-initiated and pro-active team player who can work with minimal supervision.
