We are hiring a Principal Software Consultant with deep expertise in .NET frameworks and Azure cloud services to architect and deliver enterprise-grade SaaS platforms for our global clients. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of hands-on experience designing scalable multi-tenant systems, building robust APIs and ETL pipelines, and leading cross-functional engineering teams from architecture through to production delivery. This role blends architectural leadership, hands-on engineering, client engagement, and mentorship — suited to a senior practitioner who owns systems end-to-end and drives quality across frontend, backend, database, and cloud layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms spanning frontend, backend, database, and cloud infrastructure.

• Design and develop enterprise applications using ASP.NET Core, .NET Web API, Entity Framework, and Angular.

• Build and operate cloud-native solutions on Azure — leveraging Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Application Insights, Application Gateway, Blob Storage, and serverless deployment models.

• Engineer robust ETL pipelines and long-running, fault-tolerant background jobs for high-volume data processing.

• Design and implement custom reporting engines capable of generating dynamic PDF and PowerPoint reports with advanced visualizations.

• Design and integrate AI/LLM-powered capabilities into enterprise applications using providers such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI.

• Build asynchronous data export and processing mechanisms that maintain system responsiveness at scale.

• Implement enterprise-grade security and compliance controls — encryption, role-based access, tenant-level isolation, and SSO/OAuth/JWT authentication.

• Optimize application performance across frontend rendering, backend processing, and database query execution.

• Lead client-facing engagements — requirement-gathering workshops, technical demos, and feedback sessions — to ensure solution alignment with business needs.

• Mentor and review the work of mid-level and senior engineers; conduct code reviews, design reviews, and sprint planning.

• Drive architectural decisions across frontend, backend, database, mobile, and DevOps layers.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, QA, and delivery teams to ship high-quality solutions on time.

Your skills and experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade web applications.

• Expert-level proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, and Entity Framework.

• Deep hands-on experience with Azure cloud services — Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Application Insights, Application Gateway, Blob Storage, serverless deployment.

• Strong full-stack experience with Angular 8+, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Solid command of relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch).

• Proven experience architecting multi-tenant SaaS platforms with secure tenant isolation.

• Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines, background processing systems, and custom reporting engines.

• Working experience integrating LLMs into backend services, with practical prompt engineering and AI-assisted development ("vibe coding") using modern AI coding tools.

• Strong understanding of security best practices — encryption, RBAC, OAuth, JWT, SSO.

• Experience with build, CI/CD, and version control tooling — Jenkins, Git, TFS, Bitbucket, GitLab.

• Demonstrated leadership experience — mentoring engineers, leading architectural decisions, and engaging directly with clients.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka.

• Experience with Telerik reports, Puppeteer, or other PDF/document generation tooling.

• Background delivering pharmaceutical, healthcare, IoT, or enterprise SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with AWS in addition to Azure for multi-cloud environments.

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate).

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (required).

• Advanced degree or relevant cloud/architecture certifications (Microsoft Azure, equivalent) considered a plus.
