Job description

FuelCloud’s mobile app is a crucial piece of the FuelCloud customer experience, and the Mobile Engineer position will work on optimizing and adding new features to make the app even more impactful for our customers. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to define, design, and deliver new features that build towards FuelCloud’s vision of the future of fueling.

In our fast-paced environment, you’ll need to work efficiently and collaboratively with your teammates to iteratively develop new features and bug fixes. Whether you’re taking on a task independently or working in concert with your colleagues, your ultimate responsibility will be to make the FuelCloud Mobile app the best that it can be.
 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improvements for our mobile applications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications by identifying and resolving any bugs or performance issues.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to optimize application functionality and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the overall improvement of the development process by suggesting innovative ideas, technologies, and methodologies.

Your skills and experience

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining mobile applications.
• Experience in at least 2 of 3: Android native, iOS native, Flutter 
• Strong understanding of iOS or Android platform fundamentals, including UI/UX principles, memory management, and networking.
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• DSA is a part of our interview process
• Experience with threading and performance tuning
• Experience in working with Socket (TCP/UDP) is a plus
• Communicate well in English is a plus
