Job description

As a Backend Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our technical team, driving our backend systems' design, development, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go or Python.
API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs.
Database Management: Optimize SQL and NoSQL databases.
Scalability & Performance: Develop high-traffic, fault-tolerant systems.
Cloud Deployment: Use AWS, GCP, or Azure for backend services.
Security & Testing: Implement authentication and security best practices and write automated tests.
Collaboration: Work closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Extensive 3+ years of experience in at least one of these languages (Golang/Python/TypeScript), demonstrating a deep understanding of their core concepts, libraries, and frameworks.
Knowledge about REST/gRPC API.
Experience in designing and developing API’s and backend services on various relational and NoSQL databases as MySQL/Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, RocksDB.
Strong Database and Schema design for performance and scale.
Understanding of system design and tuning for high performance, scalability and reliability.
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers, Kubernetes, caching techniques, and Git is nice.
Strong working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, cloud.
Strong English communication skills.
Willingness to travel to client sites internationally.
