Mid Wordpress Developer

Job description

We are looking for a Mid-level WordPress Developer to join our team – working in a dynamic, international environment with exciting global projects.

What You Will Do:

• Build and update WordPress websites.
• Publish content: Pages/Posts, categories/tags, featured image, slug; update Menus (Main/Footer/Sitemap HTML).
• Work with Gutenberg and the Classic editor.
• WP Engine: staging, backup/restore, assist go-live; coordinate DNS handoff when needed.
• Sitemap & indexing: update the HTML “Sitemap” menu and request indexing in Google Search Console after new/updated pages.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices (title/meta, alt, internal links, headings, OG/Twitter tags).
• Create/edit forms (e.g., Gravity Forms), set validation/notifications, and export submissions.

Your skills and experience

• 1–3 years of hands-on WordPress publishing/site build experience.
• Good HTML/CSS/JS; PHP for theme/template tweaks.
• Confident with WordPress Admin: Pages/Posts, Menus, Media, Users, Permalinks.
• Comfortable with Gutenberg and Classic editor.
• Familiar with Yoast, Redirection, Gravity Forms; can send GSC Request Indexing.
• English B1 or higher (read docs, write short updates); detail‑oriented and reliable.

Nice to Have

• WP Engine basics (staging, backup/restore), WP Rocket, Wordfence.
• Git/Bitbucket (clone/branch/commit/push, PR).
• GA4/GTM/robots.txt; BrowserStack checks; GMB…
