Mid/Sr Fullstack Engineer (Python, ReactJS, PostgreSQL)

Job description

We are seeking a Mid/Senior Full Stack Engineer for a genomics & digital health start-up founded by Vingroup. Our mission is to empower every family to fully own their health and lifestyle with science-backed and affordable genetics testing, consulting & follow-up services. By using modern A.I. and the largest database of genomic variants for the Vietnamese population, our teams of world-class advisors and experts are building a product that encourages lifestyle improvement, disease prevention, and early detection.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable and efficient solutions for both front-end and back-end components.
• Develop and maintain front-end components using modern JavaScript, TypeScript frameworks such as React.js.
• Implement server-side logic and APIs using Python.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries using relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

Your skills and experience

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar software engineering roles.
• 1+ years’ experience in building large-scale real-world projects.
• Programming language: Python and ReactJs. Strong coding and debugging skills.
• Proficiency in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks/libraries (React, Antd, Jinja).
• An understanding of core backend methodologies like REST and frameworks: Flask, FastAPI (Python) 
• Experience working in a 24/7/365 service environment.
• Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Docker, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Databases: PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Agile workflow methodologies (SCRUM).
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think about possible issues.
• Ability to be flexible and assist in other areas where needed.

Nice to have

• AWS knowledge (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda,…)
• Golang.
