Job description

• You'll be working within a development team of between 3 to 8 team members.  
• You will gain the opportunity to work on some truly cutting-edge technologies, expanding your knowledge and learning. 
• Your team leader will look to you as their most capable team member and will depend on you for input and advice on many areas of the team’s operation. 
• To keep you motivated and excited about the work you are completing, our software engineers are rotated between development teams, granting you exposure to a variety of technologies, experiences and perspectives.  

Your skills and experience

• Tertiary qualifications in software engineering or computer science (or other related discipline). 
• At least 2 years of commercial experience regularly delivering quality software and overcoming technical challenges. 
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.  
• Strong experience in one or more modern programming languages and a willingness to learn more (our development teams predominantly use Java). 
• Knowledge/experience of SQL.  
• Experience with DevOps principles and technology (e.g. Jenkins, Terraform, Docker). 
• Experience with Cloud environments and concepts (AWS, Google or Azure). 
• Humble and collaborative nature, with the ability to work harmoniously within multiple teams.   
• Eagerness to face new challenges which will grow your software engineering skills. 
• Good English and communication skills.
