Job description

Are you a seasoned Java Developer with a talent for building a robust financial platform? We're excited to present this opportunity for a mid to senior-level Java Developer to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this project we develop a platform which enables our customers to provide their end-users functionality to be able to manage their portfolio of investments. With this platform end-users can execute investments themselves or have the bank invest their assets. It is also possible to do investments with several tax benefits for pension buildup. In the backend we connect with several payment providers, financial information providers and stock exchange. You'll play an important role in the modernization of the platform, collaborating closely with our Dutch colleagues to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Platform Modernization: Contribute to the decommissioning of our legacy client
• Integration Expertise: Build and maintain integrations with various financial information providers to enhance platform functionality
• Technical Excellence: Develop high-quality, scalable Java applications using Hibernate, Dozer, and other relevant technologies
• API Development: Design and implement SOAP, REST, and JMS APIs to facilitate communication between different system components
• Release Management: Work closely with the release management team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of product increments
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in Vietnam and the Netherlands, leveraging agile methodologies to drive project success.

Your skills and experience

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development
• Proficiency in Java technologies: Hibernate, Dozer, XML/JSON, SOAP /JMS
• Good understanding of Oracle databases
• Experience with Maven and Git for project management and version control
• Understanding of financial markets, previous experience with FinTech is a pre
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
