Job description

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with a strong background in Spring Boot and experience in building scalable backend systems for mobile applications with a large user base. As a key member of our backend team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, reliable backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable, high-performance, and reliable backend architectures to support mobile applications.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless integration.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability for a large number of users.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs and work with third-party integrations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure system stability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices implementation.

Your skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience in backend development using Java.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience in building backend services for mobile applications with a high number of users.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and API documentation tools (Swagger, OpenAPI).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Understanding of mobile app push notifications and real-time data processing.
