Hybrid - Fullstack Developer (NextJS/NodeJS/PostgreSQL)

Job description

We are seeking Fullstack Developers to join a startup building an all-in-one platform that connects users with experts and solopreneurs. 

Candidates should have at least 3 years of professional software development experience, with strong proficiency in Next.js (including server-side rendering), Node.js, and the JavaScript ecosystem. Experience in developing video streaming platforms and e-commerce websites is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and contribute to the product roadmap.
• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and resilient web applications using Node.js, Next.js, and other relevant technologies.
• Implement SEO optimization techniques to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Design and optimize database models and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve the platform.

Your skills and experience

• Knowledge of clean code principles and SOLID practices.
• Experience implementing wireframe designs from Figma provided by the UX team.
• Proficiency with Next.js, including server-side rendering techniques.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Skilled in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in databases and data modeling (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with various continuous integration and source control tools.
• Proven track record of successfully executing all project life cycle stages, from requirements gathering through implementation and enhancement.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS services (such as EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, etc.).
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Experience with video streaming platforms is highly desired.
