Job description
SW Architecture
- Elicit, analyze and manage SW requirements, clarify gaps and conflicts with customer expectation
- Design and approve SW architecture models that meet customer requirements and safety standards
- Define variation handling to ensure SW reusability
- Evaluate and verify SW architecture quality, identifying weaknesses and improvements
- Manage technical debt to maintain long-term SW sustainability
Technical Leadership
- Guide development team through implementation, providing architectural expertise
- Review software artifacts to ensure compliance with design principles
- Monitor and approve software quality metrics
- Define project tailoring engineering processes and get approval by Process Owner
- Provide technical consultation for customer requirements and defect analysis
Project Support
- Assess technical feasibility and estimate efforts for new projects
- Support ASPICE assessments and SW quality gate releases
- Drive knowledge sharing (LL/BP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (system, test, SW platform, third-party)
- Participate in technical recruitment activities
Your skills and experience
Required
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 8+ years of embedded software development experience
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
- Proven experience in software architecture design
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and constraints
- UML modeling skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-disciplined with strong teamwork orientation
Preferred
- Automotive software development experience
- AUTOSAR knowledge
- CAN communication protocol expertise
- Understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE processes
- Experience with model-based software engineering
- Technical certifications (DRBFM L3, CPSA-F, BES-PE SWA, PS Expert)
- CI/CD, SiL and ECU test knowledge
- Experience with Agile development
