Job description
Development Operations (DevOps) Managers are responsible for helping companies implement DevOps strategies and methods throughout the development and deployment process for technical solutions. This role will utilize strong interpersonal skills to lead DevOps teams, monitor project workflow, and ensure the finished product meets quality and reliability standards.
· Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on Cloud environments
· Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
· Provision, configure and maintain cloud environments infrastructure defined as code
· Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
· Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
· Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
· Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
· Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of cloud infrastructure and systems
· Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization
· Team management
Your skills and experience
· At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining Cloud infrastructure
· Strong understanding of how to secure cloud environments and meet compliance requirements
· Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform
· Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jenkins, ELK, AKS, app service, Prometheus and deploying applications on cloud infra
· Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
· Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
· Strong understanding and hand-on experiences with critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
· Excellent troubleshooting
· Excellent teamworking and communication skills
· Knowledge of programming languages
· Positive thinking
