Job description

• Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines on Azure platform.
• Implement and manage cloud solutions using Azure services such as: 
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF v2)
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Functions, Logic Apps
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Azure Container Registry (ACR)
  • Managed Identity (MI), Service Principal (SPN)
• Build and optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Design and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using: 
  • Azure Monitor (Application Insights, Log Analytics Workspace, Alerts)
  • Grafana with LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir/Prometheus)
  • Open Telemetry
• Implement logging, alerting, and tracing strategies to ensure system reliability.
• Work with GitHub workflows processes.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, DevOps, and Software Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure best practices in cloud architecture, security, and cost optimization.

Your skills and experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years (Middle) / 5+ years (Senior) of experience in cloud/data engineering.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with: 
  • Azure Data Factory and Databricks
  • Monitoring tools: App Insights, Log Analytics, Alerts
  • Grafana ecosystem (LGTM stack is a plus)
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language: 
  • Python (required)
  • PowerShell and/or Bash
• Solid understanding of data processing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and distributed systems.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of data lake architecture and big data concepts.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, DP-203) are a plus.
