Job description
As a Delivery Manager, you will drive the successful delivery of key initiatives by coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing progress, risks, and dependencies while ensuring effective collaboration between project managers, team leads, the release manager, test manager, and the director of development. Your role will focus on maintaining delivery excellence and ensuring alignment with business and customer needs.
- Project Planning and Execution: Define and drive project delivery plans, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and resource availability.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to manage dependencies, synchronize efforts, and resolve conflicts across multiple teams.
- Delivery Oversight: Ensure teams deliver on commitments by tracking project milestones, addressing risks, and ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, document, and mitigate risks early, proactively resolving issues that could impact project delivery.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with the release manager to ensure smooth deployment of new releases.
- Collaborate with the test manager to ensure testing, UAT, and quality checks are fully integrated into project timelines.
- Regularly engage with the director of development to provide updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Status Reporting: Provide clear, concise updates to senior management and stakeholders, including project progress, key risks, and delivery status.
- Team Empowerment: Support and guide team leads to ensure their teams are well-organized, motivated, and equipped to meet project objectives.
- Resource Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to allocate and manage resources effectively, balancing competing priorities across projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery processes, tools, and practices.
- Agile Delivery Practices: Support Agile/Scrum methodologies by ensuring teams adhere to key Agile principles and by driving improvements to Agile processes across teams.
- Change and Release Coordination: Manage scope changes, ensuring that changes are effectively integrated without compromising timelines or quality.
- Client and Business Alignment: Ensure that project deliverables meet client needs and business objectives by maintaining strong communication with business stakeholders.

Your skills and experience
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in project or delivery management, including managing large, complex initiatives with multiple teams.
- Strong experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, testing, release, business stakeholders).
- Proven ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies in large-scale projects.
- Excellent and structured communication skills in both English and Vietnamese and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Nice-to-Have:
- Certifications in project or delivery management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agilist).
- Experience working with SaaS platforms, particularly in the insurance domain.
- Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC1, SOC2, and DORA is a plus.
