Description

• Administer, operate, and optimize database systems to ensure high availability, security, stability, and performance.
• Participate in database projects across both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Participate in designing, building and testing database systems on public cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Korean DB experts for implementation, migration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Perform DB object management (Table, Index, View, Stored Procedure, etc.).
• Maintain backup and recovery strategies.
• Monitor system performance and handle incidents.
• Support application deployment and release activities.
• Install and manage database systems such as Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL.

Your skills and experience

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with at least two database platforms (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Knowledge/experience in database migration.
• Experience working in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• English communication ability.
• Strong analytical thinking, system mindset, proactive attitude, and teamwork.

Nice to have/ Preferred

• Experience designing, building, and operating DB systems on cloud (RDS, Redshift, Big Query, etc.).
• Experience in SQL development and performance tuning (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Knowledge of Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
