Job description

We are building production data platforms for Banking and FMCG clients — covering data warehouse, MDM, Customer 360, analytics serving, and AI/ML pipelines. We are growing the Data Engineering team across three tiers (Junior / Mid / Senior) to deliver multiple parallel projects.

You will work on production pipelines daily, owning end-to-end transformation logic across Medallion zones using DBT, Amazon EMR + PySpark, and direct SQL on Iceberg / Athena / Databricks SQL Warehouse (reconciliation, validation, ad-hoc analysis).

Your responsibilities:

• Build production-grade pipelines processing 1M+ records per cycle
• Design DBT models with tests, contracts, and proper layering
• Tune Spark jobs — partitioning, broadcast, AQE, memory optimization

Your skills and experience

• 1+ years
• SQL advanced: window functions, CTE, recursive, EXCEPT/MINUS, performance tuning
• Python 3.11+ production-grade with defensive coding (null handling, schema drift, edge cases)
• PySpark: DataFrame API, UDF, performance tuning
• DBT Core project structure: Sources / Staging / Intermediate / Marts with tests + contracts
• Cloud data stack (one of): AWS (S3 / Glue / Iceberg / MWAA / DMS) or Databricks (Delta Lake / Unity Catalog / Workflows)
• Senior only: Delivered at least 1 end-to-end production data system (data warehouse / MDM / Customer 360 / Data Vault / multi-source consolidation)
• Bachelor's degree in CS / IT / Math / Data
